Do Women Feel Schadenfreude When They Kick You in the Balls?

18+ only. Satire and adult entertainment. Everything here is fantasy between consenting adults.

Yes. Obviously yes.

I want to get that out of the way before you scroll looking for a kinder answer. There isn't one. We laugh. Every single time. And we have never once apologized for it.

You already know this. You just want to hear a woman say it.

You remember the exact face

Think about the last time your balls got you.

Not the pain. The room. Somebody laughed, and you remember who it was. You remember whether she covered her mouth or didn't bother. You remember that she was still going a little while after it stopped being funny, and that she didn't look at all sorry about it.

That is the part that stayed with you. Not your balls. Her face.

I've been that face. I've laughed at men I liked very much. I've laughed while apologizing, which is its own particular cruelty, because the apology is what proves the laugh won.

Your balls are the one injury the world agreed was funny

Here's what makes those two little things so special.

Break your arm in front of me and nobody laughs. Smash your nose, nobody laughs. Shut your hand in a car door and the whole room winces with you.

Take a knee to the balls and that same room comes apart.

Family television was built on it. Whole shows, prime time, dinner hour, with a live audience howling as man after man dropped to his knees clutching himself. Nobody wrote in to complain. Nobody got cancelled. Everybody's mother laughed at it in front of her own husband.

Your balls are the only part of a human body that the entire culture signed off on as comedy. Not a controversial position. A settled one.

The clever word for it

There's a German word for enjoying someone else's misfortune. Schadenfreude. Researchers like it because it describes a real, measurable little flicker of pleasure that fires when someone else drops a notch and you don't.

That's the whole theory section. Here's the part that actually matters.

Schadenfreude usually needs a reason. Someone smug, someone who had it coming, someone whose fall feels earned. Your balls don't require any of that. I don't need a grudge. I don't need you to have been rude to me. You can be the sweetest man I know and the second those two get caught between my knee and your pubic bone, I am laughing, and we both have to live with it.

No reason required. The anatomy is the reason.

Why I can't stop it

I'm going to give you something here, because I think it's the hottest thing in this entire article and most women won't admit it.

The laugh isn't a decision.

You already know your end of it. The noise you make when your balls get hit isn't a choice. It arrives before you do. You can't mask it, you can't hold it in, you can't practice your way out of it. It just comes out of you and tells the room exactly what happened.

Mine is the same. I don't choose to laugh. It fires. Something in me sees a grown man folded in half over two soft little things he was carrying around in a bag and my body answers before my manners catch up.

So that's where we actually are. Your reflex and my reflex, going off in the same second, neither one of us driving.

Yours sounds like that. Mine sounds like laughing.

What I'm feeling while you're on the floor

I'll be specific, since nobody ever is.

Surprise, the first time. However many men I've done this to, there's always a flicker of genuine astonishment at how fast it works. You're bigger than me. You're stronger than me. Then my knee comes up and you're on the ground making a sound you didn't authorize, and all of that strength turns out to have been decoration the whole time.

Power, which arrives immediately. Not slowly. The instant it lands.

Tenderness, strangely. You look so small down there. That's the part I didn't expect when I started. You go from a man to something cupped and curled and worried, and there's a softness I feel toward you right then that I can't separate from how much I'm enjoying it.

And zero guilt. None. I keep checking for it and it isn't there. The laugh is free. It costs me nothing, nobody scolds me for it, and the world already decided it was fine.

And nothing on me can ever put me on your side of it

This is the part you came for.

There is no equivalent. There is nothing on my body that can be squashed against my own skeleton by a stranger's knee. Nothing hanging outside me in a little sack where any passing elbow can find it. Nothing I have to shield when I sit down, nothing I have to think about on a crowded train, nothing that can be taken from me by one unlucky second.

I have never been laughed at by a room for an injury I was born carrying.

I've never had to laugh along at a joke about my own anatomy failing in public. I've never watched a sitcom build a punchline out of the weakest thing on my body, because there isn't one.

You've been laughed at for your balls since you were old enough to understand what the laughing meant. And you grew up to find it hot, which is the most honest thing about you, and the reason you're still reading.

So, do we feel it

Every time. On purpose and by accident. In private and in a full room.

And the next woman who does it to you will laugh too. She won't plan to. It'll just come out of her, the same way your part of it comes out of you, and for about two seconds the two of you will be completely honest with each other for the first time.

Want to see what a woman's face actually does in that second? Michelle doesn't hide any of it. Neither does Emily, who laughs before he even lands.
